Shah Amanat International Airport

Shah Amanat International Airport is the second largest international airport in Bangladesh, located in the port city of Chittagong. It is about 18 km away from the city center and serves as a major gateway to southeastern Bangladesh.

The airport has a single terminal building, which serves both domestic and international passengers. It offers various facilities such as restaurants, cafes, duty-free shops, prayer rooms, and medical facilities.

Shah Amanat International Airport handles over 2 million passengers annually and serves destinations across Asia and the Middle East. It is the hub for the private airline Novoair and also serves major international airlines like Emirates, Qatar Airways, and Thai Airways. The airport plays an important role in facilitating trade and commerce in the region, being located near the Chittagong port, the busiest seaport in Bangladesh.
