Rajshahi Airport, also known as Shah Makhdum Airport, is a domestic airport located in the city of Rajshahi in northwestern Bangladesh. The airport is named after the famous Sufi saint Hazrat Shah Makhdum (R), who lived in the region in the 13th century. The airport has a single terminal building and offers basic facilities such as restaurants, shops, and a VIP lounge. It mainly handles domestic flights, connecting Rajshahi to other major cities in Bangladesh such as Dhaka and Chittagong. Rajshahi Airport is served by several airlines including Biman Bangladesh Airlines, Novoair, and US-Bangla Airlines. The airport is currently undergoing renovations and upgrades to improve its facilities and services for passengers.
