Lalbagh Fort, also known as Fort Aurangabad, was initially constructed in 1678 by Prince Muhammad Azam, the son of Emperor Aurangzeb. The fort is a three-part complex that includes the main fort area, a beautiful mosque, and the tomb of Pari Bibi (the daughter of Subahdar Shaista Khan). Although the fort was never completed, its majestic walls, intricate floral patterns, and spacious courtyards reflect the grandeur of Mughal architecture.

Inside the fort, visitors can also find the '''Diwan-i-Aam''', a hall where the Mughal rulers would meet with the public, and the remains of a Hammam (bathhouse). The '''Pari Bibi's Tomb''', with its white marble structure and elaborate carvings, stands as the most iconic part of the fort.
